Book Report

Dear Mr. Buxton,
I used to think Benjamin Franklin was a very boring fellow, but now, after reading this book, I have noticed that he was actually quite an interesting man. Did you know that Franklin invented the lightning rod, the Franklin Stove, AND the battery?
Visualizing, I could feel how mad Benjamin felt when he went on a ship with a permit to buy his printing equipment and then, when he got to England, it was invalid! Benjamin was also really good at making meaningful quotations. Some of my favorite are "a rolling stone gathers no moss" and "boy that can give up essential liberty, to obtain a little safety, deserves neither liberty nor safety."
When I got to the part in the book about the Franklin Stove, I  was also amazed about how Franklin was able to put a stove and a fireplace all in one, AND make it better all stoves and batteries at the time.
I think this is a great book that YOU should read.
Sincerely,
George

Here is my vocaroo for reading fluency, I couldn't hear it when I tried to listen to it, so it might not work.
Enjoy!
My vocaroo!

I thought it was interesting how you used specific quotes, and how you said your opinion about the quotes.

Good job, George. I think it was an interesting book response. You didn't really use any GRAAB, SSS or sentence fluency ssentences, though. A tip for next time: Try and go deeper into the onion.

I agree with Camille. You should say WHY you like the quote maybe, but all in all it was an interesting book response and you obviously put work into it.

Everybody, please use correct english.
It is a quotation, not a quote.
Thanks,
George!
